Mitch Pacwa talked about an incident with Mother Angelica on EWTN, his focus was more on the importance of religious wearing their habit, but sort of goes to what you were saying. The story was about how EWTN's booth was placed next to playboys or something like that at some TV conference. The playboy booth of course had some dancing girls and mother just quietly walked around saying the rosary in front of the booth and soon the crowds of ogling men dissipated and some of the dancing girls even asked mother for rosaries.
