You tell me. It is you who claims that water baptism results in spiritual blessings. Thus, you render it a tool, a mechanism, a physical means to access something spiritual.
i am not sure why anyone ever refers to “water baptism”, the Scriptures only speak of baptism.
it is the denial of historic, orthodox Christianity that gives aid and comfort to the mormons, JW’s , SDA and the armstrong crowd and is in direct opposition to the will of God as expressed by Jesus in John 17.
i ask you again, what is the purpose of “water baptism” according to the Scriptures?
