why have any faith if you don’t believe it’s the right one? that’s moronic otherwise.
Certainly all of us who adhere to any of the traditional forms of any of the Abrahamic religions would not adhere to our faith if we did not believe it to be the truth. (We Orthodox Christians, for instance, sing "we have found the True Faith, worshipping the undivided Trinity" at the end of every Liturgy.) However, adherents of syncretistic religions like Hinduism or Unitarian Universalism, have the odd (to my mind indefensible) view that "all religions are ways to God" or "all religions are true", and seemingly adhere to their chosen faith as a matter of taste or aesthetics.
Personally, I'm offended they didn't mention the Orthodox Church as an extremist group. I think we're much more extreme than any of the Western variants of Christianity.
