About 41 years ago, when I was in high school, I fractured my left femur when I smashed into a goal post hard enough to split the redwood 6x6 and take the whole thing down to the ground.
I refused to allow the doc to cast it because I would not have been allowed to remain on the wrestling team. It healed fine in about ten days.
The need for medical assistance is grossly exaggerated.
You didn’t answer the question. Did you see the Louisville basketball game? Where that young man’s leg broke and the bone was sticking 6 inches out of the skin? If that happened to you.... you’d refuse to have a doctor treat it?
