Psalm 61:1-4
Hear my cry, O God;
Attend to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For You have been a shelter for me,
A strong tower from the enemy.
I will abide in Your tabernacle forever;
I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah
Praying this morning.

The healing month
The Sefer Taamei HaMinhagim (page 251) writes that our new month of Iyar is tried and tested as a time for refuah, healing, from the ailments and pains that may affect a person. Why is this so? He brings the Bnai Yisaschar, who teaches that most weakness and illness come from foods which do not comport with the persons nature or composition. The Rambam (Hilchos Deos 4:15) writes likewise. Iyar: The Month of Healing

Now, physically Uriel is doing much, much better I attribute this to all the prayers! God bless you all for them. His wound is almost completely closed. He is walking with a walker. He is off of pain medicine, except when they clean the wound which is very painful. He is still on IV antibiotics but he is scheduled, if all continues to improve, to be off of the IV antibiotics in two weeks. Then he will go on oral antibiotics. He has lost over 50 lbs, but he needed to lose some anyway and he is happy about that. He has days when he fights anger too. We are just leaning, pressing into the Father.
I would expect it would not be over another month before he is able to come home, barring circumstances changing. The nurses are astounded at how well he is doing, and he is ministering to every person who enters his room!

As you can see, our prayers are being answered in a big way - Uri'el's healing is coming upon swift wings! Please continue to lift Uri'el up in prayer!
More prayers for Uri’el’s complete recovery and happy future!
And bless you too, Roamer.
Thank You for the update!
Prayers, of course, will continue!
Oh, thank G-d! I am so glad to hear this. Just woke up and it was the first thing I saw. It’s absolutely wonderful news and I will hold Uri’el and his family in my heart and in my prayers.

Continuing prayers.
Praise be to God Whose mercy endures forever.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Thank You God!
Your post was the first one I read after checking in at FR.
Great news indeed.
More prayers lifted for Uriel, his family, and those treating him.
GOD does indeed use his followers in ways we can't always understand, and seldom recognize.
Uriel, seriously ill, has now been used by our Lord as an example to others that his miracles still happen, and that prayers are answered. Praise the Lord.
And none among us can know who GOD sent into Uriel's room to perform some earthly service for Uriel, and received GOD's word through Uriel.
To a casual observer, it may have appeared to only be a brief exchange of words, but it may be the catalyst for one, or more, of those health workers to take the first step towards our Lord and Savior, and their salvation.
Praise God!!!
Psalm 139: 1-18
139 O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
13 For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you.
Great news! I will keep praying for Uri’el!
