I think he may be overreacting, some, because he was previously worried about where Pope Francis is coming from, and he'd now decided that if Francis is talking about "Mothers," " he must be a reliably Catholic Catholic. He's reacting out of relief.
One other point: Fr. Z use a picture of the Madres de Plaza de Mayo and played them, in a sense, against the women witnesses of the Resurrection. (Actually, I'm not even sure whether he meant them as a contrast, or a parallel.) In either case, he should have at least explained who the Madres are.
Why does he insist mothers have to march, in addition to everything else? Does he have any idea how difficult that is, when you’ve got nursing infants, children in diapers, the semi-toilet-trained ... ?
