And here’s an excerpt from her book she blogged to the Huffington Hissyfit:
That Huffington Post article was interesting (I’m not clicking the other one at work). I still don’t find cause to disapprove ... yet.
Her observations about women’s sexuality in Christianity aren’t completely off-base. This is an area where we could do better.
The article doesn’t talk much about her ‘sexuality’ specifically ... but does talk about a few other women. She talks about one who is apparently well-endowed, and uncomfortable because she thinks her body-type causes men to lust and sin against God.
She talked about a girl who was afraid of sex because she thought it was dirty.
This are not how Christian women should think about sexuality. That they do is a failure of the Church to appropriately educate. Having big boobs is not a sin. Sex is not “dirty” ... there is just an appropriate time and place.
I don’t know if this chick is legit or not. She could be a heathen for all I know. If she is, and she has an audience among miseducated Christian women ... that’s partially on the Church for miseducating them in the first place, and driving them away. There’s no reason Christian women should think that way about sex.
