"Marriage Equality" is what the left is calling for these days. You would do well to take them at their word and be sure that they mean it in the most general and permissable way possible.

If a word can mean anything, it really means nothing. Likewise if marriage can be anything, it really is nothing. Which is the actual goal of the left. No marriages, no families, no religion.
