Help me here. I know a cult when I see it....but....
1. Does Scientology allow for a beliefe in a supreme being or diety, God?
2. Does Scientology forbid faith in God?
3. What does Scientology teach about religion or “other religions”
4. By what definition do they claim themselves as religious?

I have always understood that scientology was founded by L Ron Hubbard on a bet with a friend that he couldn’t start a religion....

For a church that was invented to be a tax shelter for L. Ron Hubbard’s rising science fiction success, why did they involve the children? This is madness taken to the level of savagery. So much for this religion’s reputed idea they find perfection for the human mind.

Well, at the risk of being controversial, I’ll just say that I think “Mission Earth” is NOT the worst book ever written.

By what definition do they claim themselves as religious?Tax exemption. The only "pure" motive of that brainwashing cult.

That was a different religion. It was called Synanon. I believe the founder once said “If you want to get rich don’t start a business. Start a religion.”
