Is “friend of Evangelicals” code for something? I ask because Pope Benedict surely showed every sign of good will toward non Catholic Christians. If something has changed, I think we should be told.

As far as I can see, Romulus, "friend of Evangelicals" is a good thing. Some of our dear brothers and sisters in the Faith have tagged it--- in other threads --- as a code for "weak-kneed ecumaniac"; but of such hotheaded talk, the less said, the better.
