The AP report also stated that Bergoglio withdrew support for Jalics and Fr. Orlando Yorio, after both refused his order to abandon their work in the slums for their own safety.

Translation: the two priests were getting involved with pro-Communist agitation, Bergoglio ordered them to get back to doing their real jobs and stop endangering themselves. Sounds like Bergoglio gave them good advice.

Of course, the Marxists will try to paint Bergoglio as being a death-squad leader.

Wrong.

He ordered them back to their real jobs. They refused.

Anyone who understands how the Jesuits work as an Order will “get” what exactly happened. But it boils down to: if you’re a Jesuit, you’re expected to follow orders.

The idea that Francis is being tarred with this is sickening to me. And I’m NOT Roman Catholic.
