I’m sure he plenty of compassion for gys. He probably doesn’t believe in same sex marriage, and he surely believes that gay sex, or any other sex outside of marriage, is sinful.
Exactly and the idea that there is something wrong with disagreeing with biologically and theologically incorrect sex and relationships shouldn’t be used as a measure of compassion. I have compassion for many people especially those who are trapped in negative situations and lifestyles but please forgive me if I don’t praise and enable them to their own demise.
I’m not a Catholic and have my own issues with the doctrine. However, I admire a leader who speaks up for that doctrine.
