Nostradamus is a big question mark. He described himself as using a common method of divination, and was learned in the medical and occult traditions of the time. Yet he deliberately obscured his published predictions, which makes them hard to accept as genuinely prophetic even when they can be taken as having come true in some sense.
In general, I see the paranormal as real in many respects even though, to keep from being taken in by fraud and self deluded invention, I am deeply skeptical of specific claims.
