Well, I’m not a Catholic - I’m Jewish, but from this exchange I think it is pretty clear that Piers Morgan is not a Catholic either.

Jillette is logically explaining what Catholics believe. Catholics give obedience to the Pope and Magisterium as the leaders of the Church, which is Christ's representative and body on Earth after his Ascension. He does not believe in what he is expounding, but Jillette is correct. Morgan is just willfully ignorant. He seems to think of the Church as a social club which one chooses to attend or not, depending on which popular music they are playing that week.
