This has given the media the impression they can use free reign to pursue the cardinals. Perhaps the fact that no papabili have risen to the surface is an indication the cardinals are not cooperating with the media wolves.

I don't see Italian television, so I have no idea whether their Cardinals answer questions or mug for the TV. I did see Cardinal Donald Wuerl, Washington, D.C. in full exuberance, mug for the TV and say that he has ten or twelve on his list. I immediately said a prayer for him to cast his list aside to wait for the conclave and much needed prayer.
