The faith in the creeds was known and taught by Jesus and the Apostles before they were written in the councils. That’s what makes ‘em creeds. Got a chapter and verse for that?
Or for that matter, ANY historical evidence?

Sure, the writing and history of the Church is not confined to Holy Scripture. A great deal is available. You could start with the Apology of St. Justin the Martyr. The Didache is quite valuable as well.
