Quite right and proper. However, in as much as Benedict XVI was almost uniformly regarded by Orthodox Christians as the best Pope of Rome since the Latin Schism, I think those of us in the East very much hope that one obedience laid on him by his successor will be to provide counsel and advice.
Look for whoever comes after B16 to seek his councel and advice.
