I think they should lose the pink... just saying. That's cerise, not pink, a variant of the color purple. The color dates back to Ancient Rome and signifies piety.

Well...here in good ole 2013 it's called "hot pink" and it signifies anything but piety. They should modernize and move to more blue..
Hey! There's something the new Pope could do. His first edict from the Pope chair... "I here by proclaim Blue to be the Holy color of Rome..." There ya go, all fixed.
