Watching this liturgy and listening to the choir sing some of the most beautiful music, one realizes just how much Pope Benedict accomplished in the short span of his papacy. May his successor build on and continue this magnificent tradition of a reverent liturgy.

Your Holiness ... thank you for giving us the shining example of a simple and humble worker in the vineyard of the Lord, a worker, however, who knew at all times how to do that which is most important: to bring God to men and to bring men to God. The Holy Father was visibly moved when Cardinal Bertone said those words. I will miss him so very much.

The liturgy, music, art. This alone is amazing in its scope of accomplish. To this we add the clarity of his mind, his writing, his focus on the problems of today with such brilliance.
I cannot imagine a greater Holy Father in my lifetime. We are truly blessed.
