I read the whole article and it was not a "Mormon bashing thread" at all. Just happens that a belief system that far preceded Joseph Smith, paganism, was plagiarized by J.S. as almost all of his ideas were, whether word for word from the K.J.V. with King James era language and all or from earlier and non Christian thinkers.

I've come to believe that Smith never entertained an original thought and simply picked from this and that, anything that tickled his fancy at the moment and did it ever tickle his "fancy" when he thought to take whatever opposite sex, young or old, married to another or not, for his very own. Even that wasn't original, as every old horn dog in history has wanted to do the same. Sadaam Hussein's son comes to mind as a fairly recent example. Money and power allows that sort of thing to happen but as Husseian's son and J.S. both found out, decadence comes with a price tag.
