The following are examples of banners held by women in 1917, demanding sufferage:
- "Mr. President, what will you do for woman suffrage?"
- "Mr. President, how long must women wait for liberty?"
- "We shall fight for the things which we have always carried nearest our hearts--for democracy, for the right of those who submit to authority to have a voice in their own governments." [1]
- "Democracy Should Begin at Home"
- "The time has come to conquer or submit, for us there can be but one choice. We have made it." (another quotation from Wilson)
I think, sometimes, "Wehmens" don't think through the ultimate results of their demands.
Can't live with em, Can't shoot em.....
Im not concerned about the individual women. I am concerned about the impact of their mutilation on the over all policies of national interest. When the media show children that their mothers are blown to pieces. and say... “ should we be fighting this war...” and the camera turns to the 4 year old ans says... “why is my mommy dead?”
