I do, after all, have six sons ... and my data indicate that bodily-function humor and similar pursuits are more typical of the male sex. It’s only about 150 yards from the park to our house, but who’s doing their business in the woods? Not the girls!
I have observed that men and women are equally capable of gross, disgusting, ignorant piggishness ... but that they normally find different ways of expressing it. Also, that both sexes tend to moderate it a bit in mixed company.
OBTW, if you're having trouble with deer attacking your vegetable garden you might tell the menfolks that they, each and every one, are walking talking deer-repellant factories. FWIW.
The technique is to apply the deer-repellant to the ground around the vegetable garden.
Not to the garden itself.
