Good for Ben Stein! (He gets some economics and other things wrong, but at his core he has some good integrity and, from time to time, good wisdom to share... He’s certainly not one of the many I’d recommend Automatically Tuning Out...)

From reading the comments i assume Stein is a democrat or a liberal.

That being the case he obviously would not be my ideal in politics.

This article says that Dr. Benjamin Spock's son committed suicide, but this is not the case. Both of his sons, Michael and John, are still alive. Michael's son, Peter, (Dr. Spock's grandson) did commit suicide.

This whole paragraph about Spock's son committing suicide, appeared, word of word, 10 or 11 years ago in an article attributed to Billy Graham's daughter. I'm not sure that even she was the origin of it, just that the statement was attributed to her.

It makes me wonder whether Ben Stein actually wrote this piece.
