But also remember that, as Christian believers, be it Catholic or Prostestant, there is one passage of scripture that should unite us:

“One Lord, one faith, one baptism.”

Ephesians 4:6.

What I see here is attacking one Christian believer by others to try to make a point at a time when Christians are being “attacked” world-wide and must be united to be able to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus.

One reason is that we are divided by history. We are so divided into sects that all outsiders see is that we are divided. Go to Jerusalem and one sees squabbling over the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and evangelicals even found their own site to claim as the burial site.

Why do you use the word attack? Seldom do I see “attacking” and when it happens the post is quickly pulled. Paul commended the Bereans for “checking the scriptures daily to see if these things be true”. In Revelation we see that the churches were admonished to correct error that had crept in. Christ even admonished people to “come out of her” with regard to one of the churches who obviously had strayed from the path. I always think of the word “tolerance” when in discussions like this.

Tolerance: The last and only virtue of the completely immoral society.

If we tolerate error in the church we will end up totally in error.

But there's one HUGE problem...Your (plural) faith is in your man made religion, your popes, Mary, your good works, your Saints, etc....Your religion is your faith...

My (our) faith is in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and the free gift of salvation thru faith, alone...

I can not unite with your religion...You'll have to unite with me in praying ONLY to God thru Jesus Christ if you want unity...
