Interestingly, the Nazis told the Karaites they weren't Jews, and thus were exempted from certain fates the Jews suffered.

And what calendar do you follow?
And how many more times will the doomsday deadline predicted by Rood pass?
Don't get me wrong -- I don't have an issue with many, or probably even most, of his views -- view that are common in the messianic Hebrew roots movement. But Rood goes far, far beyond that, portraying himself as a -- dare I say it? -- prophet.
If what you say is true, then I don't see what the issue is, unless you're really here just to talk about some personal issue you have with Rood?
I have never saw where Rood has ever claimed, acted, implied, or even insinuated that he is some kind of a prophet.
What he is, is very knowledgeable of the scriptures in every translation, including the original texts. His insight and ability to understand the contextual meaning as influenced by the period in which they were written, is uncanny. And on top of that, his theatrical garb, demeanor, and sense of humor provide for both an educational and entertaining presentation.
The ancient Hebrew scriptures described in the linked broadcast which Nehemia Gordon, a Karaite Jew, discovered locked away in Jewish archives, are a VERY significant find for the Christian world and are the topic of this thread.
