Because that is an aspect my belief system.

It is not an absolute, it is what I have chosen to do in my life and my life alone.

I expect that if others chose the same, they would find that choice beneficial, but others may not agree with me.

What they choose to do is up to them.

Problem is, once one names the name of Christ, it’s not their life anymore.

If you are truly a Christ follower, HE has a claim on your live that you cannot ignore. What you think or feel, your opinion as it were, is irrelevant.

If you refuse to obey HIM, your relationship with Him is certainly suspect, likely non-existent.

It CAN’T be a relationship, with God or man, if one party refuses to relate. Relationships are two way streets.

So again that leads me to ask, since you believe in Jesus, does one pick and choose exactly how much Jesus they believe in?
