Every day I pass the house after house littered with displays of carnage and demonic figures. People think I’m nuts but I think there is something just wrong about this celebration of evil that gets bigger every year. I’m telling you this “holiday” has been hijacked and it was just a day for kids to dress up and have fun. There is still that but something far more sinister is running through it. Think of this the term “Merry Christmas” is almost banished but “Happy Halloween” just gets bigger. I can’t help feeling that means something.
BTW my wife thinks I’m nuts too.

I know...next thing ya know there'll be some guy in the White House truly believing he is a "god-in-embryo" and who has a temple recommend where occultism is practiced...
...For details, see Post #3

Don’t forget we have zombies, vampires and wherewolves year round as of the last few years.

Agreed 100%.

The ghost/witch/fiend/zombie/blood and puss dripping cadaver celebrations are way, way weird. When I was a kid the entire Halloween event was much smaller, less important, less touted, barely commercialized, and bank tellers and nurses did not dress up.

Most kids and/or their mothers made their costumes and they were usually more innocent for the most part.

It’s practically a national holiday now. I loathe it.
