I went to an Orthodox Jewish day school while I was in grade school, and I simply can't recall if we had any sort of celebration in class on Halloween. I do remember that everyone in my classes went trick or treat-ing, because we all brought in the candy to trade the next day.

I think most of the Orthodox families that did participate in trick or treating, and celebrating Halloween did so because they did not recognize it as having religious origins.

But I suppose that it would be covered by Halacha, as was pointed out.
