The Mormon Church would be wise to find a way around this rule lest it be seen as preventing a member from worshiping.There’s no way that a President would...or should...*ever* be with SS protection.Not even for a millisecond.

Do you think there might be a member or two within the ranks of the secret service ?

Also, I had dealings with the Church’s security dept while running security for a hotel in SLC.

Their intel was always the best and their people were VERY well trained.

This seems to presume there aren’t plenty of LSD SS agents. Unlikely. Practicing LSD are perfect candidates for SS.

This is not a rule.
Romney can go to any ward.
No one is permitted into the secret temple unless they have been demeaned worthy of a TR.
Romney could get SS that are TRed and then it wouldn’t be an issue.
