Any member who speaks the truth about either Bishop Romney or my church is an apostate ... and they will be cast into the outer darkness as a son of perdition ... and they will be denied his celestial kingdom and their harem of goddess wives ... and if you don't like it, you can lump it!

If they do that, that’s one joke of a Church.

Harry Reid is a temple worthy mormon.
Only about 15% of all lds reach that high level of adulation.
Harry Reid was given an award in 2008 or 2009, from BYU as an example of what a good mormon should be.
Romney is a bishop in lds, and highly valued within the corporation since his birth, you do not talk trash about him.
Apparently, now if you do, the current twelve will cast you into their lds hell if you dare.

If they want to excommunicate the guy I guess it's none of my business. It is their religion after all. They made it up, they can do what they want.
But really, how smart is it to give the mainstream press and the Obama administration this kind of ammunition so close to the election?

I thought we hated mormons.
Why do we care what one mormon does to another?

Who hates mormons?
I have never seen one post on FR, where some said or implied that mormons were hated.

Only 15%? I know some folks who are “Temple worthy”. If they can get in, anybody should be able to get in.

If Harry Reid is an example of a good mormon then that church has too many issues to be taken seriously

I’ve seen plenty of their posts. Where did they ever say or imply that they hated Mormons?
In fact, some of the “Flying Inmen”, as they are known, are ex-Mormons who surely have relatives who are still Mormons. So, do you really believe they hate their own family members?

Where have you been Tula Git. Dang, you signed up in 2004 and haven’t posted here since 2005. What would you know about FreeRepublic, really?
Let me guess, you just read the articles .... or ‘life happens?’

David Twede, 47, a scientist, novelist, and fifth-generation Mormon, is managing editor of MormonThink.com, an online magazine produced largely by members of the Mormon Church that welcomes scholarly debate about the religions history from both critics and true believers. A Mormon in good standing, Twede has never been disciplined by Latter Day Saints leadership. But it now appears his days as a Mormon may be numbered because of a series of articles he wrote this past week that were critical of Mitt Romney. On Sunday, Twede says his bishop, stake president, and two church executives brought him into Florida Mormon church offices in Orlando and interrogated him for nearly an hour about his writings, telling him, "Cease and desist, Brother Twede." Mormon leaders have scheduled an excommunication "for apostasy" on Sept. 30. A spokesman for the church told The Daily Beast that the church would not be commenting for this story.
Anyone know which Commandment/Article of Faith that he broke?
To: Terry Mross
That 15% figure comes from SLC lds.
