I thought some of you might find this of interest. It's a Franciscan perspective of the centrality of Christ the King , the Alfa and Omega of all created things, in whom the predestined were chosen "before the creation of the world" (Eph 1:4).
The philosopher Etienne Gilson, wrote “Of a hundred writers who have held Duns Scotus up to ridicule, not two of them have ever read him and not one of them has understood him.”
