re: One really great Catholic preacher is Rev. George Rutler.
I just read up on him. Sounds like he qualifies to be on the list!

I agree with: Billy Graham, John MacArthur, Adrian Rogers, WA Criswell, D.James Kennedy.
The remainder won’t last in impact beyond their own time.

When and how, specifically, did Charles Stanley "fall"?
His divorce, possibly, might be what's being referred to.

When and how, specifically, did Charles Stanley "fall"? He was divorced and didn't step down from the pulpit.

And no Joel Osteen or John Hagee.... Seriously stupid list.
Actually that give the list great credibility.

As I understand it, she divorced him and he was unwilling to go through it but the laws now are so easy that anyone who wants a divorce can get one.
I think Stanley had promised to step down if the divorce went through but then put it up to the church and they overwhelmingly voted to keep him.

I think if Stanley remarried, he would be in violation of scripture.
Since he has not, I don’t think he is.
