OMG! I’m so sorry Biggirl. You all are having a very bad time. God bless you and help you and give you peace.
My week or 2 hasn’t been so good. My beloved sister finally lost her battle with cancer, going steadily downhill the last 2 weeks as I watched her lose more and more. Tomorrow is her funeral and I will be speaking.
May the Holy Spirit comfort you in this time.
BG, you have a lot of FRiends here who are pulling and praying for you. God is taking care of you, your Mom, and your boyfriend. Trust in Him. He is the same God who knew you when you were a little girl, who knew you before you were born, who is your Father and Best Friend through all eternity.
If you start to feel overwhelmed by present events, here’s an immediate way to remember you are being held in prayer by your FRiends and embraced by your Greatest Friend. Tuck your thumb into your palm and squeeze your hand around it. That’s us, our prayers, and our Lord holding you. Keep us informed on what’s happening, and God bless.
OlLine Rebel, I’m sorry to hear that you had to witness the suffering and death of your beloved sister and that you are facing the day of her funeral tomorrow.
Know that your FRiends will be praying for you, as we pray for BigGirl. Take comfort in the care and loving power of the Holy Spirit, and in the knowledge that your sister no longer suffers, but is resting in the perfect peace and infinite joy of our Lord.
