On Wednesday, The Salt Lake Tribune reports the church posted a statement on its website saying it "does not prohibit the use of caffeine." They've certainly changed their tune over the years.

They've certainly changed their tune over the years. Some time back, a Mormon friend couldn't go to his own daughter's wedding in a Mormon temple ... because he was known to drink coffee.

When I went to Salt Lake to visit my Aunt, my Uncle broke out the coffee rather than sneak out to get his fix. I wonder what she thought of my Grandfather getting his coffee fix every morning, she was very LDS.
