Ever read Randy Alcorn’s Safely Home? Excellent book. You would like it.I took a quick gander at the reviews on Amazon. The gist seemed to that all one can expect in this world are the sacrifices demanded of the apostles. That actually hearkens back to the austere tenets of the Anglican faith back before it was bastardized into the milk-and-water religion it has become today. As to the quasi-heretical cargo cultism of the prosperity gospel, the less said the better.
