Jeopardy-style: "Who is the Holy Spirit and what is His purpose?"
The Lord said, a house divided against itself cannot stand. He was talking immediately about the House of Satan, but he was also talking about us when we turn against one another.
This is true; and it is most interesting that no church split* is ever instigated by new Christians.
Why? Because they are too obsessed with the fact that God has saved them: that is, their focus is on God's Grace.
* As opposed to cults or other blatantly-false teachers.
The Holy Spirit works through people. WHICH people? Which people incarnate truth, and which people do NOT?
