Obama’s words about Jesus shows the ideology that Jesus and Mohammed are in the same nature with the Almighty . Islam traces its lineage back to Abraham through Haggar and her son by Abraham, Ishmael. The Christian biblical account is that these persons were cast out of the tent of Abraham. The Christian lineage goes from Jesus back to David and back to Sarah and son Isach. Sarah was the true biblical wife of Abraham. This difference in lineage is what I believe makes it very improbable if not impossible for Islam i.e. Mohammed and Christianity i.e. Jesus to reconcile faiths as well as relations. As to Mormonism I believe that it is a latter date, i.e. 19th century, of another inspired man to claim similar to Mohammed connection to eternity. So with the three religions two are based on and in some mans vision while one is based on belief in a true documented personage who was before any of the other two.
Hagar means the stranger in Hebrew Ishmael is the son of a stranger. Ishmael is the son of Abram not Abraham.
