No kidding. Most Catholics on FR seem to have trouble with the statement that a functional, constitutional representative republic is the best form of government over any country, at any time. I suspect that many secretly believe that a "benevolent Catholic dictatorship" is better than a constitutional republic. Voris certainly thinks so, but how many Catholics publicly take Voris to task for it? The silence is deafening.
