Glad we don’t know each other.

But I DO know you!

From what you've posted on FR!

If you really were concerned with the danger a false religion posed to not only the USA but the world you might concentrate your efforts of negative attacks on the real evil that is the cult of Islam.

So far; none of these folks have come pounding on my door; claiming that THEY are the TRUE Christians in the world.

Of course; your experience may have been different from mine.

You just seem a little too fixated and downright nasty to me.

Oh?

Based on what evidence?

Your last was not “making it personal” because it wasn’t redirecting the thread away from the issues and towards an individual Freeper.

Maybe not YET; But I predict he'll be saying some NASTY things about ME in the future!!

Will I disagree completely with their beliefs, I’ll leave the fact of their false teachings about Christianity to those with the stomache for the fight.

Try and comprehend this...

How does voicing one’s disagreement with a doctrine equal hatred?

I wonder; since I’m married to a mormon, was a mormon, raising a child in the mormon church, know many mormons personally, share an office with a mormon, am friends with mormons, went to the funeral of a mormon friends son, went to the funeral of one of our past mormon home teachers, volunteer in Scouting with mormons, work with mormon Scout Troops to better their programs, take mormon Scouts to summer camp since their units can’t/won’t, etc., please tell me, how is it that I’ve come to “hate” mormons?

But I don’t think that’s the real motive here.

As to your claim of supporting the 1st Amendment, sorry, no sale.

I see an overt attempt in the tactic used to silence or mute the dissent against mormon doctrine by believing that the simple act of labeling people as “haters” will silence or cow them into compliance with your slur.

Just because one lacks the moral fortitude and courage to actually stand up for something does not grant them license to slander. Or is that “love” and conservatism on display?

My comprehension is just fine thank you.

Of the, off hand, 25+ Mormons I have known, admittedly a much smaller number that you have known, have all been extremely nice people with whom I could completely disagree regarding their religion yet not be disagreeable. One of them was the best boss I ever had.

I don’t know how taking that view, which I have now qualified on a couple of posts places me in any way in conflict with the Constitution or being a Conservative.

I take great umbrage at my conservatism being questioned.

I can certainly appreciate someone with more exposure to this group than myself having a different opinion.

My greatest concern is all this time wasted which could be much more constructive were we to make sure Obozo is defeated along with as many dems and RINOs as possible.

It is apparent that a reasonable discussion cannot take place on this subject therefore, I leave it to those who care more about this food fight than what Obozo is doing to the country.

I look forward to other threads where me might share a common interest.

It’s funny in a way, that on FR, I’ve found it much harder, almost impossible at times, to discuss mormon doctrine/theology than I have in person with my mormon friends and acquaintances.

We’ve had some pretty darn good debates and can still wish each other a “good morning”.

I’m not really a bad guy. Really! ;^)

I try not to carry grudges around, I’d be crushed under the weight if I tried.

Hope you feel the same.

See ya around...

Right NOW???

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl.
She wanted to know what the United States looked like.
Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country.
Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to her and said, 'Go into the other room and see if you can put this together".

After a few minutes, she returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together.

The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly..

'Oh,' she said, 'on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus.

When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged,

Then our country just came together.'

We will let history decide which was the better fight for the country.

This is liberal psyops targeting Christian conservatives. It serves only to help Obama. If Christian conservatives stay home, they’ll be working to re-elect Obama. There isn’t more to say.

It balancesa out:

When Christian LIBERALS stay home, they’ll be working to elect a deceived (or a deceiving) MORMON..

The marquee night of next week’s Republican National Convention will feature testimonials from individuals who worked with Mitt Romney in his local church – the most expansive discussion yet by the GOP hopeful’s campaign of his Mormon faith.

Personally, i think they should leave the religion out of the campaign, it will just give the Obama worshipers more wood to throw on the fire.

Not that it is any thing different, a Catholic could just as easily go through the same hate war because it has nothing to do with religion, it is nasty politics by people who will use some one else,s religion as a tool against them even if they are also involved in a false religion.
