Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

7. I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord,
the deeds for which he is to be praised,
according to all the Lord has done for us—
yes, the many good things
he has done for Israel,
according to his compassion and many kindnesses.
8. He said, “Surely they are my people,
children who will be true to me”;
and so he became their Savior.
9. In all their distress he too was distressed,
and the angel of his presence saved them.

Father, because Steve is one of Your own, we pray Pegita’s wonderful healing prayer for him:

HEALING CONFESSION ~ Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Living Word. You said that Your Word is Life to those who find it and medicine to all their flesh. Today, by our confession, I apply Your Word to Steve’s body by giving voice to it. You said in Psalm 139:14 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that Your works are marvelous. I declare that You made Steve and he is a marvelous creation. Proverbs 3:7-8 teaches that we are not to be wise in our own eyes; we are to fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to our body and nourishment to our bones.

I speak to infirmity today and proclaim that according to Philippians 2:10 that it must bow down to the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every name in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth bows its knee to Jesus’ name.

I speak to Steve’s body today and declare that we have authority over it. I command it to receive the Living Word of God. Matthew 8:17 proclaims that Jesus bore our sickness and took our infirmities. Heavenly Father, I thank You that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in Steve and makes alive his mortal body.

I thank You, Father, that every cell in his body responds to Your Word. Your Word permeates his body from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet. I confess that the Word of God is being made flesh in him. Psalm 103:3 declares that You, Father, forgave all our iniquities and healed all our diseases. Father, that is Your confession and I make it our confession also. We don’t judge by the sight of our eyes; we judge by Your Living Word. It is Your Word that lives in us and brings health and healing to every part of Steve’s body.

Heavenly Father, I rejoice at Your promise of divine health. You said it and we believe it. Today I declare that we will see Your Promise of healing manifest in Steve’s body. Healing is his because Jesus paid the price two thousand years ago. God so loved Steve that He sent His Son to die on the cross so that he could experience life on God’s terms. O Father, thank you for making Steve whole ~ body, soul and spirit. Exodus 15:26 ~ For I am the Lord that healeth thee. Amen and Amen.
