Moscow's top court has upheld a ban on gay pride marches in the Russian capital for the next 100 years.
Earlier Russia's best-known gay rights campaigner, Nikolay Alexeyev, had gone to court hoping to overturn the city council's ban on gay parades.
He had asked for the right to stage such parades for the next 100 years.
He also opposes St Petersburg's ban on spreading "homosexual propaganda". The European Court of Human Rights has told Russia to pay him damages.
On Friday he said he would go back to the European Court in Strasbourg to push for a recognition that Moscow's ban on gay pride marches - past, present and future - was unjust.

That is the first thing that popped into my mind too ;^)
So, it’s only temporary then.
On the other hand, they cannot seem to master being a Republic Banning free expression--even offensive expression, as is the case here--does not often go hand-in-hand with a republican form of government.
I expect the gays to try to force the US to boycott the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Banning nudity and adult sexual acts in public is legal in the Republic.
The homo parades are full of public nudity and sex. They should not be given permits based on their abuse of the law and violaters should be arrested. They can not control themselves.
The point is, you can ban nudity and sexual acts without banning speech/expression because of its political viewpoint.
We don’t seem to be able to do both with the sodomites. When they are out of the closet, parading their sex thing down the road, they are indecent and insane. They are sexually aggressive and violent.

I would offer this: it is not that they cannot control themselves. It is because they do not control themselves. And why? Why should they? They have jettisoned any reason or faith in God in favour of the whims of the moment.
Gratification comes in many forms - sex, power, fame, money. And in being a rebel against 'the Man', especially if it brings no significant repercussions.
While they are young. But they generally don't age very gracefully.
