Doesn't their failure to reproduce make them, ipso facto, irrelevant to evolution? I mean, if you want to see evolution happening, visit my house - I have some kids that we don't even know what species they are.
I'm so happy to hear that, now I don't feel so all alone. I'm sure my wife will be relieved to know it, too.
