Throughout history, the Lord has used imperfect men to accomplish His purposes.
Please go read Judges and Kings. Look at the flaws of those he chose to lead his people. Ponder what the Maker has in mind for this nation.
Scripture is clear that He puts into power whoever he wants. We must pray that on November He gives us the leader we need, not the one we deserve.

Any man He uses is by definition an imperfect sinner, so I agree with your first sentence, but can you give me Scripture supporting a Christian voting for the Mormon bishop Romney?

Is that what you call a man who unconstitutionally implemented Gay Marriage in MA and to this day still supports the Gay Agenda?

Funny - I was just reading Daniel 1 the other day:
1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God.
Sadly, I believe God put Obama there for the wicked desires of the people. Mitt is not my spiritual leader, guidance, etc. I will pray for him as any person put in authority.
As far as this article, people here aren't reading what they said - they're NOT looking for agreement with Romney, the point they ARE making is IF and WHEN Christian leaders DO endorse Romney, make VERY CLEAR to the world that you're NOT endorsing his religion, but as someone with better morals* and traditional American principles than ZERO.

Judgement, if He is to be fair to nations like Sodom, that He judged severely...

I agree God is sovereign over human leaders. But I am not. God will pick whom he will, but he will also hold me to account for the sin of supporting a proponent of false, antichristian doctrine, when he has given direct instructions to the contrary.
