BTW, “The Great Divorce” is one of my favorites, if not my favorite. I love the guys refusing to stay in heaven because they have to get back to church. I drastically simplify, but you know what I’m talking about. ;-)

Ah, yes, the Apostate Bishop, who says he has to get back to his Bible study class. They've decided that if Jesus had not died 'as a comparatively young man', he would have "revised" his message to fit their notions.
