Having taken human form to offer us salvation, Jesus became our brother in the sense of the “brotherhood of man”. All men are our brothers in that sense, even brother Obama. You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your relatives!

THIS is where lds are lacking in trying to explain passages like John 1:12 and 13 and adoption passages in romans 8 and also ephesians...even book os mosiah in bom militates vs lds concepts here
