Wrong. Both the end of chapter 7 - where he writes of his doing evil and serving the law of sin - and the beginning of chapter 8 - where he writes of the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, having delivered him from the law of sin - are written in the present tense. Doing evil he doesn't want to do is taking place although he has been delivered.
There are numerous scripture that says we cannot continue to sin and love God or be born again. You simply will not accept it and you guys manipulate the bible to your own ends...and then judge some of my words as being unscriptural. That is blind intellectualism.
