Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Isaiah 48

1. “Listen to this, you descendants of Jacob,
you who are called by the name of Israel
and come from the line of Judah,
you who take oaths in the name of the Lord
and invoke the God of Israel—
but not in truth or righteousness—
2. you who call yourselves citizens of the holy city
and claim to rely on the God of Israel—
the Lord Almighty is his name:
3. I foretold the former things long ago,
my mouth announced them and I made them known;
then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.
4. For I knew how stubborn you were;
your neck muscles were iron,
your forehead was bronze.
5. Therefore I told you these things long ago;
before they happened I announced them to you
so that you could not say,
‘My images brought them about;
my wooden image and metal god ordained them.’
6. You have heard these things; look at them all.
Will you not admit them?

Our Father,
Who Art in Heaven,
Magnified and Sanctified
Is Your Most Holy and Wonderful Name!
How Awesome You Are,
and How Glorious!
You Alone Are Worthy to Be Praised,
For You Alone Are My Strength And My Song,
My Rock and My Redeemer!
You Are The One True God Of Abraham,
And Know The End From The Beginning
and the Beginning From The End,
Because You ARE The Aleph~Tav,
The Alpha and the Omega,
The Beginning and The End of All Things.

We Pray For The People of Israel.
May Their Eyes be Opened.
May Their hearts Be Turned to The One True God.
May Their Stubbornness, Which Has preserved Their People for Thousands of Years,
Not become a Snare to them.
May They NOT be Deceived by the Media.
May They Not be deceived by the Enemies of Their God.


We pray for an END to Lies,
Slander, Blood Libel, Propaganda,
and Antisemitism against Your Beloved.
We Pray For an End to Slavery,
Hostage-Taking,
and Piracy wherever it is Practiced Around the World.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands,
Especially in Egypt, Somalia, Sweden, Germany,and Iran.

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
so that All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netanyahu, and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

The Incredible Stubbornness of The People of Israel has Preserved Them through Millennia.
In my humble opinion, there is no group on earth that has endured as much concentrated efforts to wipe them out.
Yet, this same trait can be a hindrance as well.
Please Bear this in mind as we read these chapters in Isaiah, which are written in LOVE, not condemnation.
