LUKE 5:12-16:

12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy.[a] When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.

14 Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”

15 Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. 16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

I have been remembering the leper that Jesus healed, who was of the 10 lepers that He healed. Just the one leper came back and fell on his face at Jesus feet thanking Him. The LORD answers prayers, but let's not forget to thank Him for His awe inspiring answers. Remembering to thank The LORD when He gives us tangible answers to prayers, I believe, facilitates more faith. It certainly is something that He appreciates greatly. __________________________________________

Luke 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

Luke 17:16 And fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

Luke 17:17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?

Luke 17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

Luke 17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

God does what he pleases, people do what pleases them, sometimes they aren’t the same thing. We we have a bit of a conflict when that occurs. Let's see on one side is the Alpha and the Omega who has the ability to create worlds, to command the movement of the stars, he can cause the ground to leap and the oceans to rise, he knows the course of our lives while we are but in our mother's womb, on the other side of the argument is Fred who is very much like a smelly talking monkey. It is not hard to see who is going to win, and who needs to get right.
