Ok then. So Jesus never once mentioned purgatory. So the Catholic church invented it.

Well sure. It's a big moneymaker. People pay for masses intended to spring loved ones from Purgatory or to reduce the time of their stay in the holding cell.

It would be the protestants YOU FOLKS are missing sections of the Bible, that is why I refer to the KJV/ NIV etc... as the Readers Digest version.

I really shouldn't have to explain this to you
