AND, your point is????
A little "shot" at Romney and Mormons mayhaps?
You needn't bother as the LEFTIST, biased, corrupt, Lame Stream Media is going all out to try and discredit and dishonor the Mormon Religion.
I'm betting that there are several Catholics (including a cousin who is a priest) who would consider me a "JACK-Catholic" as I do not always go to Church every Sunday; have not been to confession or received Communion is some time; regularly take the name of the Lord in vain; as well as commit many other sins.
I'm also willing to bet there are "JACK-Baptist," "JACK-Amish," "JACK-Hindus," as well as "JACK-Muslims."
In fact, I imagine there are very few, devout religious people of every denomination who follow the spirit and letter of whatever the teachings are.
All I know is that Jesus died on the Cross for our sins and he knows we are ALL weak and SINNERS, but He never gives up on us and gives us all opportunities to try and do better.
As far as Jesus being DENIED entry into a Mormon Temple, that presupposes (AGAIN a "shot" and "slight") that you and others consider Mormons as NOT being Christians and ANTI-CHRIST.
Regardless, Mormons as are ALL peoples are GOD's children and who knows whether He will welcome and accept them into His Kingdom when they pass.
Do you?????
Jesus could never pass the "temple worthiness" test. He would have to answer to His bishop the following questions satisfactorily:
Additionally, Jesus would have to "pass by Joseph Smith" in order to enter Heaven...
I tell you, Joseph holds the keys, and none of us can get into the celestial kingdom without passing by him. We have not got rid of him, but he stands there as the sentinel, holding the keys of the kingdom of God
Orson Hyde, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 6, p.154-155
Do you believe Jesus could "pass by Joseph Smith"?
Mormonism is not Christian.
Pass what?
That is something Joseph Smith said - he will decide who gets IE pass into the highest level of celestial being.
Are you lds?
“Regardless, Mormons as are ALL peoples are GOD’s children and who knows whether He will welcome and accept them into His Kingdom when they pass. Do you?????”
Do you really believe “ALL peoples are GOD’s children?” I would accept that God is the Creator of all, but you are linking it to acceptance by God, and Jesus used language which strongly suggests he would not agree with your theory:
John 8:43-44 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Now the first question is who was Jesus addressing. They were those Jews who wanted to kill him. Yet there you have it, sons of Adam, sons of Abraham, yet Jesus calls them sons of the Devil. So no, not everyone is a child of God.
As for who will enter His kingdom, he has given us a Bible for a reason. Like CS Lewis says, nothing God does is a sham. The Bible was not put in our hands so we could ignore it, but to guide us into a relationship with him. Without that relationship, the soul is lost, doomed to wander eternity in darkness. Jesus said he did not come to save the righteous, but sinners. If anyone is a sinner, then they are lost, until they are found. As John Newton has famously said:
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me;
I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see.
So the great question becomes, how does one get found? If Jesus and the Apostles provide an answer to that question, then any answer contradicting their teaching must be false, mustnt it? And if someone is lost, and is following a false answer, how can they be saved?
Well, I suppose God could just forgive them for their ignorance of the truth. And if he said he would do that, I would have no problem with it, because He is God and he can do as he pleases, and he really isnt going to care too much what you or I think about it.
But if he has already told us how it is, that those who come to him, come a certain way, and believe a certain thing, then isnt it equally presumptuous of us to contradict him? He is God. He will do as he pleases, and no one can question his authority to do what he does.
That is why this discussion is so important, and not really Mormon-bashing at all. If the LDS leadership has openly declared they do NOT believe in the Jesus presented in the Bible, and they have so declared, and yet that Jesus, the Jesus of the Bible, has declared it is Him they must believe in to be saved, how then can they be saved? One Jesus must stand, and the other fall. They both cannot be true.
Christians are obligated to test the spirits, as Paul puts it, to use the benchmark of Scripture, with the aid of the Holy Spirit, to discern truth from falsehood. If they refuse to do so, they are disobeying Christ. As we are not interested in disobeying Christ, we must raise these questions about so-called alternative faiths. We have no desire to upset anyone, but we have accepted that the quest for truth can sometimes lead to temporary discomfort. And so we pursue it despite the discomfort, because in the end, only the truth can set a person free, and thats what love is really all about.
First of all Jesus wouldn’t and couldn’t enter a Mormon Temple as it would break His Torah which He never broke nor will He ever break. His Word is eternal He warned us over and over and over not to worship other gods! He brought judgment on the House of Israel by scattering them to all nations because they worshiped other gods, so I don’t see Him going into a Mormon Temple. He also probably would not go into any Catholic or Protestant church as they too have mixed pagan worship, idols, holy days, with the Hebrew Faith. He definitely would not go in. Most likely He would feel most comfortable in a Conservative synagogue where they still keep HIS 7th day Sabbath and all of HIS holy feasts and the Ten Commandments.

Wrong there on a couple of points, sparky.
Mormons are NOT Christians based upon their own theology. NO church accepts them as Christians - Catholics, Orthodox or Protestant if for no other reason then they deny the Trinity.
Second, ONLY BELIEVERS (born again believers who trust Christ for their salvation) are Children of God (by adoption not by birth). Mormons preach against this.
Mormon theology is what keeps them from God, not us.
In fact, I imagine there are very few, devout religious people of every denomination who follow the spirit and letter of whatever the teachings are.
It was the devout religious leaders who tried to keep Jesus out.
I think religion is the enemy of Christs teachings.
I believe if jesus,s words were the only thing we had of the Scriptures and we heeded them that would be enough.
At the same time i am also my own worst enemy, as i believe in the necessity in Cor Ch 11 where paul says that a womans hair is her glory, or beauty, but if a man have long hair it is a shame unto him, i really believe that.
At the same time i think there is nothing more disgusting than a man in kiddie britches with his baby knees showing following a well built woman wearing jeans.
The part about long hair is in the Bible in plain words but as you know some of them twist it around to mean something else.
But as far as i know the mens baby knees sticking out is not even mentioned in the Bible so it just comes from my self righteous tradition and becomes a religion, and in that sense religion is wrong.
But i am not going to start wearing shorts just to prove that i am open minded.
And i do not doubt that many religious teachings in quite a few religious institutes come from this very same thing but scripture is twisted around to confuse the real meaning for people who are not apt to search for them selves.
Well you notice that i said i think or i believe, the fact is that i don,t really know anything except that Jesus is the one who is Christ and Christ is the Lord.
